PURPOSE:To prevent contamination of a ground at a printing time, by a method wherein a picture receiving layer, containing an inorganic pigment and carboxymethylcellulose acid, is formed on a water resisting supporter. CONSTITUTION:Carboxymethylcellulose acid is converted into ammonium salt or amine salt to be soluble with water, and an inorganic pigment, such as titanium oxide, clay, calcium carbonate, is added for dispersion in the water-solution. The mixture is applied to that which a water resisting layer is formed and dried on a surface of a humidity reinforcing fine quality paper or a fine quality paper, or on a water resisting supporter consisting of a plastic film to form a picture receiving layer. Since the picture receiving layer has a nature to substantially satisfy both water resistance and hydrophilicity, the obtained plate is excellent in rigidity and the use of said plate permits obtaining of a large number of printed matters which is always clear. |
