PURPOSE:To previously prevent the errorneous perforation at the header part and to produce a paper tape in a short time, by carrying out a header format check based on the perforation data supplied from an input part and indicating a reinput of the data when an error is detected. CONSTITUTION:In case the perforation data supplied from an input part 11 corresponds to either one of characters C1-C4 which belong to a header part, the perforation data is delivered to a comparison controlling part 14 to carry out a header format check. Then the perforation data is perforated to a paper tape when no error is detected. If an erroroneous data is decided, the output is inhibited for the perforation data to a puncher part 15. Then a reinput is indicated in voice or through a lamp display, etc. by an error detecting signal ERR of the part 14. |
