PURPOSE:To utilize an electric repulsive force to obtain a high offset prevention effect, by providing a polarity converting means, which converts the polarity of an unfixed picture to the opposite polarity, in the upper stream region before the first and the second rotating materials. CONSTITUTION:A picture forming device is provided with a zinc oxide rotating material 1 which consists of a zinc oxide-binder layer and an earthed conductive base material and is rotated in a constant speed in the direction of an arrow, a developing sleeve 4b which faces to the rotating material 1 and is rotated in a linear speed approximately equal to the rotation speed of the rotating material 1, charging devices 6 and 7' placed in the upper stream region of them, etc. A positive charged toner image 5 is transferred to a transfer paper 8 by the charging device 7' of -7kV, and negative charge is given to the toner image 5 by the charging device 6 of -6kV. The polarity due to friction of the sleeve 4b is made coincident with that of an unfixed picture on the rotating material 1, thereby utilizing an electric repulsive force to obtain a high offset prevention effect. |
