PURPOSE:To effectively perform restraint of vibration on the vehicle body at each speed in such a way that the span between the uper and lower chambers of pistons of shock absorbers on the front and rear wheels is communicated through valve devices, and these valve devices are selectively made ON/OFF control in response to the speed. CONSTITUTION:The span between the upper and lower chambers of pistons of front and rear shock absorbers 3, 4 arranged on either same left or right side of the vehicle is communicated through four pieces of solenoid valves 5-8. And pitching and bounce damping in response to the shock absorbers 3, 4 are done in such a way that the solenoid valves 5-8 are controlled by opening and closing through a control circuit 9 in rsponse to the speed signals which are detected by means of a speed sensor 1. For example, when the speed signals are within the first predetermined value, the valves 5, 8 are closed, the valves 6, 7 are opened so as to put the absorber in pitching damping mode, and when the speed signals exceed the first predetermined value but below the second predetermined value, valves 5, 8 are opened, and the valves 6, 7 are closed so as to be in a bounce damping mode. |
