PURPOSE:To prevent interference to a radio set etc. by shutting out or absorbing electromagnetic waves emitted from a cold cathode discharge tube when the room lamp equipped therewith is lighted. CONSTITUTION:In a room lamp of a car equipped with a cold cathode discharge tube 5, installed in a lamp house 3 partitioned by lens 1 and housing 2, and a reflector part 4 on the inside of the housing 2, an electtoconductive transparent film 6 is interposed between the lnes 1 and discharge tube 5 and is arm-connected to said reflector part 4. This transparent film 6 is formed by coating the surface of a polyester film, for ex., with electroconductive film consisting of indium oxides and, upon placing on the step part 23 of housing 2, fixed by pinching with the lens 1 fitted. According to this arrangement, electromagnetic waves emitted by the discharge tube 5 can be shut out and absorbed by the transparent film 6 and reflector part 4. |
