PURPOSE:To prevent the early-stage deterioration of an information-formed layer by forming an intermediate protective layer, consisting of plural atoms having a large difference in negative degree between at least two atoms, between the substrate and information-formed layer of an optical disk. CONSTITUTION:On one surface of each substrate 1, an intermediate protective layer 2 is formed and on it, an information-formed layer 3 composed of a recording layer or light relfective layer of Te or Al is formed; and two substrates are stuck together while a hollow part is interposed, thus constituting an information-formed layer 4. The intermediate protective layer 2 is made of a dielectric or semiconductor, and polarization which corresponds to that of the substrate 1 is caused in the intermediate protective layer 2 to increase adhesive strength between the substrate 1 and intermediate protective layer 2. Namely, two atoms having a great difference in electric negative degree, e.g. F as a negative side and MgF containing Mg as a positive side are used to improve adhesive strength on the hydrophilic substrate 1. |
