PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for logical design and to easily design a printed board, by giving converted code information to an address line of a storage device possible for data write and desired conversion code information to a data input/output line. CONSTITUTION:In code-converting the ASCII code to a teleprinter code, an erasable and rewritable ROM2 is set to write state, output terminals of a keyboard 1 having ASCII code output terminals A-G are connected to address lines A1-A7 of the ROM2 and a line A0 is grounded. One key of the device 1 is depressed and teleprinter code information in 6-bit corresponding to the display of a key to be depressed is given to data input and output lines D1-D6 of the ROM2. When this operation is made to all keys of the device 1, the teleprinter code information corresponding to the ASCII code information is stored to the address of the ROM2. Thus, when the combination of voltage written to the address lines is inputted, the content corresponding to it is read out on the lines D1-D6. |
