PURPOSE:To prevent a collector shoe from coming off from the rail and facilitate work of installation by laying a soft insulating cover over a conductor tubing provided with an open groove having a side edge, rising in the longitudinal direction upward, and a collector guide groove having two parallelly projecting side edges stretching downward. CONSTITUTION:An open groove 2 having a rising side edge 3 is provided in the longitudinal direction upward of a conductor tubing 1 for the purpose of fitting in a messenger wire 7 while a collector guide groove 4 is furnished having two parallelly projecting side edges 5 below the tubing 1. This tubing 1 is covered with a soft insulating cover 6. In order to lay this insulated torolley cable, the conductor tubing 1 is fitted on the messenger wire 7 from the open groove 2 above and they are fastened by a bolt 9 and nut 10 with the aid of a connecting metal 8 at the connection part of the conductor 1 with wire 7. At this time, a joint bar 11 consisting of an electroconductive material is interposed at this connection part. |
