PURPOSE:To obtain a device for measuring the amount of suction air of an internal combustion engine free of erroneous measurement due to pulsation of a signal, by outputting the output signal of a suction air amount meter through a peak tracing circuit, and regarding the peak value of the signal as the amount of suction air. CONSTITUTION:The ouput of a suction air amount meter 21 provided to the suction passage of an internal combustion engine is inputted to the terminal (+) of an operational amplifier 23, and the output passed through a diode 24 is supplied to the terminal (-) of the operational amplifier 23 and also the terminal (+) through a resistance 25 respectively. Further, the output of the diode 24 is led out from an output terminal 27 as the amount of suction air through a capacitor 26. Consequently, when the output of the suction air amount meter increases, the diode conducts forward to allow the output of the suction air amount meter to appears the output terminal as it is, and when the output decreases, the capacitor is discharged through the resistance 25 with their time constant, thereby tracing only the peak value of a signal even when its pulsates. For this purpose, the peak value of the signal is regarded as the amount of suction air, obtaining an accurate flow rate. |
