PURPOSE:To make a separator to have an exclellent dimensional stability and high oxidation resistance, and improve the electric and the preservation characteristics of the separator by forming the separator by laminating and unifying a micro-porous synthetic macromolecular film and a graft-polymerization polyethylene film. CONSTITUTION:A separator, which is interposed between a positive and a negative mixture, is made by laminating and unifying a micro-porous synthetic macromolecular film which is prepared from polyethylene, polypropylene, vinyl chloride or the like and has fine holes, and a polyethylene film which is prepared by subjecting acrylic acid, methacrylic acid or the like to graft polymerization. As a result, a separator which has an excellent dimensional stability and prominent oxidation resistance and provides an improved electric characteristic and preservation characteristic can be obtained. |
