PURPOSE:To adsorb heavy metals to a chelate ion exchange filter paper quickly and to concentrate said metals, by adding a fixed quantity of sample water and a buffer solution into a regulation vessel and heating the resulting solution for a fixed time and hereafter, moving it into a filter vessel setting filter paper and filtering it. CONSTITUTION:A regulation vessel is soaked into a water bath in a boiling state to heat the vessel 1. Next, a fixed quantity of sample water is poured 2 into the vessel. Continuously, a fixed quantity of a pH buffer solution is charged as shown by 3 in order to keep pH of the sample water constant and heating 4 is carried out for about ten minutes. Next, the heated sample water is charged into a filter vessel setting filter paper at the lower part and take-out 5 of the sample liquid is carried out and then, filtration 6 is carried out so that the filtration is finished in 20-30min by filtration under reduced pressure. The filtration is carried out sufficiently even when suction force is not so high as the normal temperature because adsorbing reaction is accelerated by increasing a liquid temperature to 96 deg.C by heating 4 and the viscosity of the sample water is decreased. |
