PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for sterilization preventing dripping and scattering in use, as well as effectively utilizing all of the chemical taken by hand, furthermore achieving effective disinfection and sterilization by improving in persistence and stability of foam. SOLUTION: Since the composition for sterilization containing povidone iodine can achieve sterilization and disinfection by blending a specific amount of a sulfate type surfactant therein, it is possible to improve the utilization factor of effective components and economical efficiency as chemical.
