<p>The equipment lifts, hoists and stows wind surfing boards on sailing craft. An aluminium bar acts as the main support (1), and two perpendicular parts (2) serve as a gauge/guide to keep the board in position. Two pivoted arms (3) with U-shaped profiles grip the board. A counterweight (4) opens the arms and keeps the system in a vertical position and the main support out of the water. Two floats (5) keep a sufficient spacing between the surface of the water and the main support to allow the board to be introduced. A rope end (6) with two knots closes the arms to lift the board.</p> |
