PURPOSE:To act the magnetif flux from a magnetic pole iron core effectively upon an ingot with simple construction without the obstruction by the structures around the mounting part by mounting an iron core in the position corresponding to the magnetic iron core on the front surface of an electromagnetic agitator. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic agitator A consists of a magnetic pole iron core 14 contained in a case 13, an electromagnetic agitator body 11 consisting of a coil 15 wound around this, and an iron core 12 contained in a case 16 mounted freely attachably and removably to a case 13 in the position corresponding to the core 14. The core 12 is disposed between rolling rollers 21 and 21 in proximity to an ingot 20 so that the magnetic flux of the above-mentioned body 11 is effected effectively to the ingot 20. |
