PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation of footpaths formed by making the side angle of the footpath in sloped-round smaller than the reposing angle of soil by a method in which a means of altering the fitting angle between a forming tool and a bar base material is provided and the forming tool is connected with a cross bar by a freely expandible elastic hanging metal. CONSTITUTION:A footpath former provided with a pair of forming tools 2 and 2' to form the side of a footpath is dragged by a power runner through the upper hitch of a strut 3. A bar base material 6 is pivotally attached to the lower part of the strut 3, land a cross bar 11 is fixed to the strut 3. A pair of the forming tools 2 and 2' are pivotally attached to paired support parts 7 and 7' hung down from the bar base material 6, and the upper ends of the forming tools 2 and 2' are connected with each other by a connection bar 9. The forming tools 2 and 2' and the cross bar 11 are connected by elastic hanging tools 14 and 14'. The angle between the forming tool 2 and the cross bar 6 is altered to change the angle of the formed footpath face 2C from theta0 to theta2 in such a way that the angle of the side of the footpath on the sloped ground side is made smaller than the reposing angle of soil. |
