<p>The metal cap is for sealing receptacles by crimping. As delivered to the user it has a flat base (1), or one slightly curved. There is a crimping skirt (2) made of a cylindrical part roughly perpendicular to the base, and to which it is connected by a curve (4). There is also a second curve (5) with teeth (6) or folds. The cap is intended for receptacles of standard 26 mm necks. The number of crimps is between 24 and 28 and the thickness of sheet used is between 0.23 and 0.19 mm. The annular perimeter separating two crimp tops is between 3.5 and 4.1 mm.</p> |
