Bracket for aerated concrete building - has fixing pins and clamping bolt to retain frame before rendering is applied

The galvanised bracket (1) is used to fix interior and exterior frames into openings in buildings constructed from aerated concrete. The bracket is filled into preformed rebates and fixed by pins (2). It is furnished with a clamping bolt (3) before the rendering (13) is applied. A rebate (15) is formed in the rendering to house the interior timber frame (4) which is clamped in position by the bolt (3). An exterior rebate (14) houses the shutter (5) when in the closed position. A cover joint (11) masks the fixings (3) after final assembly.
