PURPOSE:To facilitate the automatic control of water supply by a method wherein the titled device is attached to a water cock so as to control the total quantity of feedwater by generating signals indicating the condition and temperature of the feedwater. CONSTITUTION:An inlet 38 in an outer shell 34 of the water supply control device is connected to the water cock and a feedwater quantity detecting mechanism comprising a valve seat 40, a ball valve 41, a temperature senser 42, a water wheel 49 and a group of gears 50 is arranged between the inlet 38 and an outlet 39. With the above structure, when the total quantity of the feedwater is set by turning a rotary knob 37, the set quantity is stored in a controller as the variation of a resistance value through a contact 46, a variable resistor 47 and an electrode 48 and a cam 44 is rotated to make a rod 43 thrust the ball valve 41 so that the valve 41 is opened to start a water supply. Thus, when the water is supplied, the water wheel 49 is rotated to return the rotary knob 37 to the original position as shown while the rotation speed of the water wheel 49 is reduced by the group of gears 50 so that the ball valve 41 is closed. |
