PURPOSE:To suppress electric corrosion of an anode plate without deteriorating both paint characteristic and painted film performance, by adding and containing an oxygen acid as a corrosion inhibitor in a cation electrodeposition bath liquid. CONSTITUTION:In case of cation electrodeposition paint using stainless steel as an anode material, >=1 kind aq. chloric acid solution, perchloric acid, nitric acid, aq. nitrous acid solution, and ortho phosphoric acid are added and made to contain as a corrosion inhibitor in an electrodeposition paint or a diaphragm anode liquid. The weight of the oxygen acid to be added is set to 10-300ppm or so as concentration of a conjugated base part of oxygen acid, against the total weight of a cation electrodeposition bath liquid. In this way, the stainless steel anode which is weak against electric corrosion is stablized against the corrosive action, and the quantity of pure water flowing into an anode tank can be reduced. |
