PURPOSE:To lower the cost of die manufacture and to make the operation for die exchanging easy by making the die parts corresponding to peripheral parts exchangeable in order to obtain moldings differing only in the shapes of the peripheral parts. CONSTITUTION:In a die A consisting of a left stationary side and a right movable side with a die opening plane PL as a boundary, the stationary side consists of a stationary side common die plate 2a mounted to a stationary side mounting plate 5 via a stationary block 1 and a stationary side interchangeable die plate 4a; the movable side consists of a movable side common die plate 2b mounted to a movable side mounting plate 9 via a movable block 3, and a movable side interchangeable die plate 4b; the central part of cavities 17 for obtaining a molding 12 is formed of the common die plates 2a, 2b, and the peripheral parts are formed of the interchangeable die plates 4a, 4b. In the case of producing the molding differing only in the shape of the peripheral parts, it is possible to produce various moldings simply by exhanging the interchangeable die plate and leaving the common die plates intact. |
