PURPOSE:To simplify the construction and to increase the processing accuracy, by the constitution that the side of a pad is depressed with a depressing member of a unit prior to the processing by tools. CONSTITUTION:A panel work P is set on a punch 1, and a pad 10 and a driving cam 3 are descended at the same time. The pad 10 retains over a longitudinal wall P2, and the driving cam 3 comes into sliding contact with sliding cam 4 to push out the cam 4 toward the punch 1. The depressing plane 22b of the cam 4 abuts on a side 10b of the pad 10, a slider 2 relatively retrogresses to a base plate 21 to depress the side 10b of the pad 10 with the elastic force of an elastic substance 24. Thus, the floating of a longitudinal wall P1 of the panel work P is prevented and flange bending with high accuracy is made by a die 5. |
