The invention proposes a novel mould for concrete-block-producing machines, in the case of which the walls of the mould cavities comprise high-carbon-steel plates. Said high-carbon-steel plates are connected, in particular by a releasable adhesive bonding, to the mould walls which consist of a low-grade material.
