A device for irradiating parts of dental prostheses has a receptacle (52) with a glass table (59) for the object to be irradiated and two lamps (11, 11') each surrounded by a reflector (12, 12') for irradiation of the object from above and from below. Whereas the lower lamp (11') is arranged with its reflector (12') below the glass table (59) in such a way that its radiation initially impinges through the glass table onto the underside of the object, the upper lamp (11) is arranged with its reflector (12) in such a way that its radiation is initially emitted horizontally. This radiation is directed vertically downwards on an inclined mirror (60) and initially impinges on the upper side of the object to be irradiated. The mirror (60) is mounted on a flap (51) which permits easy insertion and removal of the object to be irradiated obliquely from above. <IMAGE>
