For repairing coverable shoe heels which contain a heel shell with an opening facing away from the shoe, in which at least one support pin is situated with its free end projecting towards the opening, which pin serves for supporting and fastening a heelpiece which has a bush-like part for receiving the support pin, heelpieces are made which are suitable for different shapes and sizes of opening of the heel shell. The heelpieces have on the side facing away from the outsole at least three strip-like projections which in each case extend from a point in the interior of this side in the direction of the edge of the heelpiece. These strip-like projections are cut to shape by the shoemaker in such a manner that they fit in a press fit into the opening of the shoe to be repaired and the support pin or pins of the heel shell can be inserted into the bush-like part(s) of the heelpiece.
