Structural part for roof borders which can be fitted both on a pitched-roof border and on a flat-roof border and, on the pitched-roof border, forms a roof gutter with integrated eaves flashing, integrated gravel stop and integrated snow stop and, on the flat-roof border, forms, on the one hand, a gravel stop with a drop nose and, on the other hand, an inner trough delimitation for the loose fill on the flat roof. The structural part essentially comprises planar, elongate walls, merging one into the other at their parallel longitudinal borders, and has an outer wall which is adjoined, on the one hand, by an intermediate wall and, on the other hand, by a reinforcing wall, an inner wall on the other longitudinal border of the intermediate wall, and an oblique wall which adjoins the inner wall. The outer wall, the intermediate wall, the reinforcing wall and the inner wall together have a cross-section which is approximately in the form of a narrow rectangle, the inner wall extending over approximately half the width of the outer wall, and the width of the reinforcing wall being considerably smaller than the width of the intermediate wall. The oblique wall and the inner wall enclose an angle of preferably 120 DEG . The structural part is fastened on a pitched-roof border by means of an oblique wall such that the intermediate wall is arranged at the bottom. On a flat-roof border, the structural part is arranged such that the free longitudinal border of the oblique wall rests on the roof structure and the intermediate wall is arranged at the top.
