PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy selection of an interrupted copy, by setting a deflecting device for copy paper at the middle of the copy paper transport path of a copying machine incorporating an interrupting function and accordingly deflecting the interrupted copy. CONSTITUTION:A receiving plate 2 is set at the left side to the transporting direction of a conveyor belt 1 contiguous to the copy transport end of the main body of a copying machine (not shown in the figure). A deflecting roll 3 heading to the plate 2 is attached to the upper part of the belt 1 via a solenoid 4 and in a free up-down moving way. An end of a rotary shaft 5 of the roll 3 is connected to the rotary shaft of a motor 7 via a universal joint 6. When an interruption sorter button switch is pushed, the solenoid 4 works to start the motor 7 which is moved down from the roll 3. As a result, a copy 11b which is copied with interruption is deflected to the plate 2 and transported. Thus the sorting for the interrupted copy is extremely facilitated. |
