PURPOSE:To prevent the mixture of a defective recording sheet for a double sided recording device, by providing a temporary storing part for the recording sheet that received the recording on the 1st surface and discharging the unrecorded sheet which is detected by a detector set at a position between the storing part and a recording part onto a tray. CONSTITUTION:A recording sheet sent out from a paper feed stand 1A(1B) has the transcription of a picture formed on a photosensitive drum 4 via a roller 3 and is guided (a) to a switch guide 8 after the transport 6 and fixing 7 to be temporarily stored to a relaying tray 9. The transfer sheets stacked densely are squeezed by a roller 7 to be separated from each other, detected by a concentration detecting sensor 15 provided to the tray 9 and guided C by the guide 8 to be discharged to a tray 12. The stacked sheets separated on the way of transfer are detected as a jam by sensors 13a-13i. After this, a picture is transcribed on the 2nd surface from the drum 4 via the transport 11 and the roller 3 in the same way as the 1st surface. Then the sheet is guided (b) to the guide 8 after the transport 6 and fixing 7 to be stored to a sorter 17. |
