The covers fastened to the crown of a wall are of inverted U cross-section, with connecting strips held on the inside of their interfacing ends, fitted with a top gutter. On each side of the joints formed between the cover (1) ends (a), an elastic sealing strap (6) is clamped between these and the connecting strips (2) in a gutter (3a). At least one clear water drainage gutter (3) is provided between the sealing straps on both sides of the joints, and on the far side of the straps. The latter can be of foamed rubber with self-adhesive surface, or of elastic putty.PS.
