PURPOSE:To impart the surface characteristics suitable for the surface decoration by the printing, etc. to a molded polyacetal resin article, by dipping a molded specific polyacetal resin article in a solution of a specific compound before dipping the article in an acidic roughening solution. CONSTITUTION:A molded polyacetal resin article consisting of (A) 100pts.wt. polyacetal resin, (B) preferably 2-35pts.wt. carbonate, phosphate salt, acetate of a metal selected from Group II in the periodic table or a mixture thereof, e.g. calcium carbonate, and (C) preferably 0.01-20pts.wt. polymer of an unsaturated polyester with an alkyl methacrylate is dipped in a solution consisting of preferably about 3-25wt% 3-hydroxypyridine and about 75-97wt% water at 40-80 deg.C for 30sec -10min before dipping in an acidic roughening solution. |
