PURPOSE:To copy only the image of a film, by forming the protruded face of the platen glass of a film copying machine in such a size so as to have a surface-contact at least with the image region of the film and coating a film at the regions excepting the protruded face to cut the light. CONSTITUTION:A protruded face 11 is formed to the platen glass 10. For the size of the face 11, the upright wall 12 of the face 11 is positioned inside the inner edge of an adhesive tape 4 and the face 11 touches the surface of a microfilm 3. The face 11 can be formed in a small size so as to just touch the surface of the film 3 as well as at least to cover the image region of the film. Furthermore a black pigment coat 14 and a thin tape type material are used at the regions excepting the face 11, i.e., a flat part 13 and the surface of the region of the wall 12. As a result, only the image of the film 3 is projected to form no black frame, and furthermore the undesired light entering the wall 12 and the flat part can be cut off to prevent the deterioration of image resolution. |
