PURPOSE:To erase a background noise and thereby obtain a clear X-ray image, by allowing only the pulse within the predetermined period of time to pass through a gate circuit among a series of pulse signals. CONSTITUTION:A seres of pulse signals from an X-ray spectroscope 6 is delayed in a delay circuit 8 through a wave form shaping circuit 7, and is fed to a gate signal generating circuit 12, which feeds a gate signal of a certain time width to a gate circuit 9, and also the inverted gate signal is fed to the gate circuit 10. The pulse which passed through the gate circuits 9 and 10 is fed to a cathode-ray tube 13 through a switch 11. According to selection of the switch 11, an X-ray image including the background, an X-ray image whose background is erased, and a background to be erased are displayed respectivey on the cathode-ray tube 13. |
