PURPOSE:To obtain the same filter characteristic as the ordinary one without degrading a dynamic range by using only one band pass filter for recording and reproducing. CONSTITUTION:A color comb circuit 22 is connected to a double limiter driver 21, fetches a chrominance signal from a video signal at recording and removes crosstalk included in the signal components at the reproduction. A band pass filter 23 of 3.58MHz is connected to the circuit 22. A balanced modulator 27 is connected to an AGC circuit 24, combines a signal from a 4.27 signal generating circuit 28 and chrominance signal of 3.58MHz at recording to obtain a low frequency converted chrominance component of 688kHz and converts the low frequency converted chrominance component of 688kHz into a chrominance signal of 3.58MHz at reproduction. A band rejection filter 32 is connected to a modulator 27 through a switch and has 4.96MHz trapping characteristic. |
