PURPOSE:To eliminate an interference component without using a signal other than a received signal by exercising control over cross polarization compensation in digital transmission on the basis of demodulated base-band signal information. CONSTITUTION:A cross polarization component adder 1 consists of a weighting circuit 12, a compensating adder 10, and a detector 11 and after a cross-polarized signal is multiplied by a compensation coefficient, a received polarized signal is added. The output signal of the adder 1 is applied to an error detector 2 to detect a difference between a transmitted and a received signal on the basis of the output signal of the adder 1. The output signal of the error detector 2 and the output of an oscillator 31 are applied to a correlator 30 to apply a correlation output to an integrator 33, which integrates the input. The output of the integrator 33 is applied as the compensation coefficient of the circuit 12 through an inverter 34 together with the output of the oscillator 31. |
