PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a feeder for a continuous sheet by a method wherein a traction means is provided on the downstream side in the continuous-sheet feeding direction of an image-recording part, and a control means providing a tension in the direction opposite to the continuous-sheet feeding direction is provided on the upstream side of the image-recording part. CONSTITUTION:A continuous sheet 1 is guided by a guide part 2, is passed between a tension driving roller 3 and a tension driven roller 4. After an image is recorded on the sheet 1 between a transfer charger 5 and a drum-formed photosensitive body 6, the sheet 1 is guided by a guide 7 and is fed by a driving force for feed generated at a tractor 8. While the force for feeding the sheet 1 is obtained by the tractor 8 in the passage for the sheet 1, the driving roller 3 is imparted with a small force tending to feed the sheet 1 in the backward direction and is supported on the main body side. The driven roller 4 is rotatably supported by an arm 9. |
