PURPOSE:To perform efficiently the voltage applying processing by which a voltage is applied to a conductive roller, by providing a plural number of conductive rollers pressed to the surface of a photoreceptor and controlling their pressing positions by a pressing means. CONSTITUTION:This device stabilizes the photoconductive layer of a photoreceptor by the voltage applying processing before use to improve the image formation in the initial stage of the use of the photoreceptor; and pressing position of conductive rubber rollers 2-1-2-4 to a photosensitive drum 3 are controlled by a scale 5 and a screw 6. The photosensitive drum 3 is put on conductive rubber rollers 2-3 and 2-4 whose positions are adjusted in accordance with the outside diameter of the photosensitive drum 3, and these conductive rubber rollers are pressed to the photosensitive drum 3 by closing the outside box of conductive rubber rollers 2-1 and 2-2, and a driving motor 4 is operated to rotate conductive rubber rollers 2 and the photosensitive drum 3, and next, a high voltage transformer 7 is operated to apply a high voltage to the photosensitive drum 3, thus performing the voltage applying processing. |
