PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which is easy to handle and can produce a constantly clear latent image, by a method wherein a distance between a needle- shaped electrode and a dielectric drum is fine-controlled by a knob of a micrometer at an attaching arm, and the surface of the needle-shaped electrode is cleaned with a cleaner brush. CONSTITUTION:Slide plates 53 are attached on right and left roller guides 52 of two parallel basic arms 50 being positioned at right angles to a dielectric drum (13) surface and in a horizontal direction, and is connected to a side plate 51 through the medium of a spring so that it comes close to the side plate. With a micrometer knob 56 turned, the slide plate 53 can be finely moved against the force of the spring 57 for adjustment. A rotary plate 60 is pivotably attached to the slide plate 53, and a gap between a needle-shaped electrode 3 and the surface and total width of the dielectric drum 13 can be adjusted by moving the needle- shaped electrode 3 together with the rotary plate 60 through adjustment to an adjusting screw 63. Through turning of a driving mechanism 67, dust and toner residues on the electrode (3) surface is cleaned by a cleaner brush 68 to prevent damaging of the surface. |
