PURPOSE:To project a film where pictures are photographed in two stages, by removing and inserting a prism in an illumination optical path without moving the film in the direction of the shorter side. CONSTITUTION:When a frame (a) should be selected, the part of the frame (a) is magnified and projected onto a screen 5 from a light source 1 through condenser lenses 2 and 3 and a projection lens 4 as the known method. When a frame (b) should be selected, a parallel prism 6 is inserted between the condenser lens 3 and the film, and the frame (b) is magnified and projected through a moved projection lens 4' by the light from the light source 1 refracted by the prism 6. |
