PURPOSE:To increase the thermal deformation temperature and to improve the mass-productivity and reliability and the like, by forming a disc type recording medium including electrically conductive particles with a copolymer of vinyl chloride and specific (meth)acrylic acid ester as a binder. CONSTITUTION:A disc type recording medium used for a static capacitance type video disc is made by using a copolymer of vinyl chloride and 1-15wt% ester having straight chain or branched alkyl group of >=C4 acrylic acid or methacrylic acid as a binder of electrically conductive particles such as carbon black, Ni, Cu, Ag and Au. The said binder resin has good molding processing properties without adding any plasticizer and processing assistant agent, and a disc recording medium with high thermal deformation temperature and excellent mass-productivity and reliability can be obtained. |
