PURPOSE:To enable to detect only the oscillation of a magnetic head with a piezoelectric element, by fitting the piezoelectric element to the magnetic head directly. CONSTITUTION:A gimbal 1 is electrically split into two, the 1st and 2nd members 5 and 6 with an insulation layer 4, and the base is fixed to an arm 7. A back groove 8 of a magnetic head 2 is inserted to a lateral member 10 including the insulating layer 4 of the tip 9 of the gimbal 1 for fixation. A piezoelectric element 3 is fitted to a side wall 11 of the back groove 8 of the magnetic head 2, and each terminal connected to the 1st member 5 and the 2nd member 6 with jumper wires 12 and 13. |
