PURPOSE:To easily and accurately display the playing start position of a pickup arm, by overlapping an image of a playing stylus on a light source to a semitransparent mirror provided between a locus of the light source and the playing stylus. CONSTITUTION:A light source 4 such as an LED is disposed down forward a record player 1 as a display, and movable almost in parallel with the moving direction of a pickup arm 3. This light source 4 is moved through the rotation of a knob 14. A semitransparent mirror 7 is disposed almost at the middle position of two moving loci of the light source 4 and a stylus 19 of the arm 3. Thus, the transmitted image of the stylus 19 and the reflected image of the light source 4 can be confirmed with being overlapped on the mirror 7. Then, even if the surrounding of the player 1 is closed with a rack or the like, the playing start position of the arm 3 is displayed easily and accurately from the front. |
