PURPOSE:To obtain a random initial value without incorporating ny special constitution of circuit, by obtaining the initial value of a shift register with use of the output signal of a dividing circuit for a timepiece. CONSTITUTION:The data on the hour, minute and second of a dividing circuit 5 is led into the shift register of a polynomial code generating circuit 3 in the form of the initial value. Thus quite a different initial value is obtained with the different times for which the circuit 3 is used. A logical process can be applied to the data of the circuit 5 to use the data as the initial value. Furthermore, a random number can be reproduced by setting the time of a timepiece at a specific time. |
