PURPOSE:To obtain a Lippmann-Bragg hologram superior in diffraction efficiency and resolving power, by using a dichromate-gelatin photosensitizer to form a film and irradiating rays to all of the surface to harden the film after exposure. CONSTITUTION:A solution where 0.1-5pts.wt. alkali dichromate as a photosensitizer is added to the aqueous solution of 5-20pts.wt. gelatin is applied uniformly to a substrate consisting of glass with a thickness 1-20mu and is dried to form a photosensitive material 1. A reflection light 4 from an object 5 of a laser and a reference light 3 are irradiated to the surface and the rear face of the photosensitive material 1 so that an angle theta is 135-180 deg., thus recording interference fringes. Next, a light including ultraviolet rays are irradiated to all of the surface of the photosensitive material 1 to form a phase hologram by the difference in refractive index between the laser irradiation part and the light-hardened part. This phase hologram is washed with water and is dried to obtain a hologram superior in diffraction efficiency and resolution from which a reproduced image is obtained by a white light. |
