A plastic pipe coupling for a tension resistant connection, of the double sleeve insert type has >=1 groove in each receiving end for the reception of a coupling element and >=1 groove for the reception of a seal element. An inner pipe part is fixed without adhesive in an outer pipe part which is provided at each receiving end with a groove for the reception of a coupling element. The end part of the inner pipe facing this receiving end is provided with a groove for the reception of a seal element. Pref. the inner pipe part is fixed within the outer pipe part by clamping the latter, and esp. by shrinking an opened out outer pipe part onto an inner pipe part. Pref. pipe is of PVC and seal element is of polyethylene. |
