PURPOSE:To provide a registering device for molds which is improved of working efficiency in order to register molds automatically by providing correcting mechanism which is movable forward, backward, right and left and is swivelable within a horizontal plane to the vertical slide or carriage of a resitering device and correcting the positions of a top or bottom mold. CONSTITUTION:A registering device 10 for molds which registers a top mold 60 detained and held to a vertical slide 21 onto a bottom mold 70 placed on a carriage 13 by lowering the top mold is constituted in the following way: A correcting mechanism 30 having the three degrees of freedom, forward and backward, right and left, and swiveling within a horizontal plane is disposed on either one side of the above-mentioned slide 21 or the carriage 13, and the top mold 60 or bottom mold 70 is held thereto. The position of the mold 60 or 70 held by this is corrected by the mechanism 30. It is possible to improve the accuracy of correction according to the resolving power of the deviation detection of the top and bottom mold positions and to register the molds with high accuracy and ease by operating this registering device for the molds. |
