The system consists of a source such as wind or water with mechanical energy, which is coupled to an electrical generator. It consists of a liq. pump, which is connected to the energy source. The liq. is sucked out of a reservoir via a pipe. The drive shaft of the pump is connected to the mechanical energy source via a gearbox. The pump motor is regulated. There is also a choke and a heat exchanger. The flow regulator contains an electrically controlled regulator valve, whose control current is proportional to the speed of the liq. motor or the generator. |
