Winning chemical elements from sea water - using selective ionisation by concentrated solar photon beam and electrodeposition

The process is intended for winning chemical elements contd. in sea water by selective ionisation of these elements to produce their electro-deposition in an accumulator cell consisting of electrodes placed in the water. This selective ionisation is produced by means of concentrating a photon beam from solar radiation on a volume of sea water. The concentrator unit consists of two transparent plastic dished discs with a medium, e.g. a gas or water, between them. The spectrum of the concentrated photon beam corresponds with that of the target element. This is achieved by depositing a thin reflective layer of that element on the surface of the concentrator dish.
