PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of harmful light from a light emitting device, by fixing the light emitting device on a lead frame having the projection to intercept light being covered with resin mold having a burr located under the fixed part. CONSTITUTION:Light generated at the P-N junction of the light emitting device 2 is intercepted by a projection on the element fixed part 5. Besides the burr 8 at an end part 7 is formed in the lower part than the element fixed part 5 of the light emitting device 2. Thus, harmful light from the light emitting device can be reduced without increasing the size of the resin mold. |
