PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy connection between a microstrip line and a dielectric resonator, by decreasing the width of a strip conductor at the area where the dielectric resonator is provided. CONSTITUTION:For a microstrip line 4, the width of a strip conductor 6 is decreased at the area where a dielectric resonator 5 is provided. Thus the microwave currents flowing to the conductor 6 are concentrated at a narrow width part 7. Then an effective connection is secured between the microwave magnetic field caused by the concentration of the microwave current and the microwave magnetic field in the minimum frequency state of the resonator 5. Thus a sufficiently large connection is possible to facilitate an easy connection between the line 4 and the resonator 5. Furthermore the lowering due to the approaching effect of conductor wall surface of the resonator 5 can be avoided for the no-load Q value. |
