PURPOSE:To remove effect of phase changes in a transmission signal by shifting the phase of a phase reference signal by a given value on the receiving side for each different pulse repetition cycle in a stagger triggering system mobile object detection radar. CONSTITUTION:A phase reference signal from a coherent oscillator (coho) 6 is modulated with a stagger trigger pulse of a pulse generator 16 and provided to an antenna 1 from a transmitter 3 through a transmission/reception selector 2 to emit a transmission signal. A reflected wave received is input to a phase detector 10 as an IF signal following a high frequency amplification 8 and mixing 9. The signal of the coho 6 is provided to a phase shifter 12. The shift of the phase is predetermined at each repeated cycle and controlled by the amplitude voltage of a gate signal from a gate signal generator A13 to which the output of the generator 16 is applied. The output of the phase shifter 12 is provided to the detector 10 and controlled to minimize the residue of an MTI video as erased. This enables an eraser 11 to completely erase components reflected from a fixed target. |
