PURPOSE:To reduce a cross color disturbing phenomenon and at the same time to improve the coloring performance to a minute part, by providing a series trap in a luminance signal circuit to eliminate the carrier chrominance signal. CONSTITUTION:A switch 13 is provided between a color signal amplitude producing circuit 1 and a color signal filter 2, and the switch 13 is set at the sides 13a and 13b ti increase and decrease the color amplitude respectively. At the same time, a series trap 14 and a switch 15 are set between a luminance signal amplitude producing circuit 3 and a luminance signal filter 4. When a reduction is desired for the color signal amplitude, the switch 15 is set at the side of 15b to suppress a cross color disturbing phenomenon. In addition, a switch 16 is provided between a burst signal poducing circuit 7 and a buffer circuit 17. The switch 16 is switched to the side of 16b when the reductio of the color signal amplitude is desired. Thus the changing factor is kept constant between the color signal amplitude and the burst signal amplitude to reduce the amplitude of the chrominance signal. The cross color disturbing phenomenon caused by the reduction of the chrominance signal amplitude is suppressed by the function of the trap 14. |
